THIS IS PAGE SWITCHER
With the release of Launchpad Pro MK3, Launchpad X, and Launchpad Mini MK3, the classic functionality of pages has been altered. This plugin brings the ability to have pages back to the newer devices, by converting actual MIDI notes into messages to send to your chain
selector macro. This device works as an alternative to internally mapping the pages inside of Ableton without the restriction of the MIDI channel.
This device also deactivates velocity sensitivity before your project chain, a crucial element of ensuring consistency in a project.
Unify page functionality on ALL Launchpad models
Setup
This plugin is very simple to set up, you simply have to download this device, and drag it to the start of your audio and lights track to control the macro right after the device, this lets you take control of pages in the same way as before. Mapping this macro to your chain selector will allow you to change pages.
Global mode allows you to send the page value to every other switcher in the project.
No specific requirements for the file location. Tested and confirmed as functional with Ableton 10.1.3 and higher, and Max 8 (Lower versions should still work). Live 10 Suite or Trial is required to run this plugin.
